Stephanie Meyer - Twilight

The Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer has been EXTREMELY popular. I have not had a chance to read it but it has been praised by both high school students and adults. The waiting list is long for any book in this series so I will not be able to read it any time soon, so please tell me about it!!! I want to hear what you think of it. What is your favorite part? Who are the characters? Why do you like it? PLEASE SHARE!

Senior Project

It has already begun! I have had 1 senior already come in to make sure we have the materials he needs. Way to go! Please come in and see us before you pick your topic. We can help. We can order books from other libraries to be sent here for you. If given enough time, if there is nothing else in Polk County it is even possible for me to purchase items on your topic. I can't make that decision unless I know the item is needed. I WANT TO HELP!! Don't wait until the last minute. Start looking up items for your topic now. PLEASE!!!!

New Young Adult Section!!

We are in the process of creating a young adult non-fiction section at the library. I have ordered a bunch of items for it, but I am not a young adult and I don't presume to know what teenagers today want. You could really help us out. If there is a non-fiction book that we have, or one you wish we had, that you think would be great for our new section just let me know. You could make this section the best in the library just by letting me know what you think. Don't have titles, but like certain subjects or authors, that's great too. Any input is welcome. Make a difference at your library!

I am also looking to improve the fiction young adult section. If you have any suggestions, they are greatly appreciated.
